The B-2 bomber and the F-117A fighter-bomber are prime examples of the new generation of "low observable" aircraft. Although the theory behind them is similar, these planes achieve stealth characteristics in different ways. You can see it in their shapes. The B-2 is a large beautiful plane, while the F-117 is rather inelegant and wedge-shaped, looking as if it should not be able to fly.
